Ocean City Guts & Glory
On Sunday, August 13, 2023 members from all over the community will attend the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter’s largest annual event in New Jersey, the Guts & Glory 5K Run/Walk, at the Aquatic & Fitness Center in Ocean City! The event includes a certified 5K run or walk, inspiring speeches, top team and top participant awards, vendor booths and a finish line festival. Our goal is to raise over $275,000 to advance research, education, and patient support programs to achieve our vision of a future free from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, millions of Americans are impacted by these debilitating illnesses.
About the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation
We are a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
Since our founding in 1967, the Foundation has played a role in every major breakthrough in IBD research. We have invested more than $400 million into finding the causes, treatments, and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. And we won’t stop until we realize our vision of a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.

Our chapter serves more than 103,000 local constituents throughout Philadelphia, Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware. We support our patients and the region's IBD community with education programs, support groups, community awareness and advocacy, as well as a variety of ways to engage in our mission by getting involved with our local campaigns, events and committees.
